Bright Star Institute offers a Cyber Security Specialist certificate program that, through the International Cybersecurity Commission, you can receive a scholarship for.

The Cyber Security Specialist certificate program prepares students for a career in cyber security by starting with foundational concepts and progressing to advanced topics. It covers key areas such as network defense, threat management, and security protocols. Students gain hands-on experience in identifying and mitigating cyber threats. The curriculum also includes guidance on how to enter the industry, focusing on job search strategies and career development. By the end of the program, students are equipped with both the technical skills and practical knowledge needed to pursue a successful career in the growing field of cyber security.

The Bright Star scholarship is open to American Legion members, as well as their families and friends, of participating American Legion Posts. Please check with your Post Commander to confirm it participates in the Bright Star Cyber Security Scholarship program. The scholarship is intended to provide individuals seeking a career in cyber security, with a tuition free training and certification opportunity.
